On February 10, 2018, undergraduate student Binh Cao won an honorable mention for his presentation "How are proteins trafficked to the rhoptry organelles in Toxoplasma gondii?" at the annual Northern California Parasitologists (NCP) student competition, located at UCSF Mission Bay.
Guiton Lab’s very own undergraduate researchers, Paula Rodriguez and Binh Cao, have been selected to participate in the CSUEB Louis Stokes Alliances Minority Participation (LSAMP) Program, which is a statewide program dedicated to strengthening the diversity, quality and participation in STEM disciplines. Congrats, you two!
To welcome the new year, The Guiton Lab finally has a place downstairs in BioCore while the Toxo Lab upstairs is being finished. We look forward to doing science by mid-January!
